WPC started strong in March 2023 with a literacy program for the women displaced from conflicts in Sudan, DR Congo, Ethiopia, and other East Africa nations. 450 women are registered as of July 2024.

They have started four Table Banking Groups, and piloted a bakery skills training that may evolve into a business.  Their other ambition includes a community garden for fresh produce for members and neighbor refugee families.

Additional livelihoods programs are planned.
